The 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl was the first and only place where AJ’s high school career came to a close. In the opening game of his freshman year, he completed his first touchdown pass to wide receiver Julio Jones from 29 yards out. Over the course of the season, he was also successful with three touchdown passes and 389 yards passing.
