Career

Beginning her career in August 2010, Ubaka worked in Redding, California, for the KRCR AB7 news team as a General Assignment Reporter. Among the notable stories covered there were the now-famous California wildfires.

She uprooted her life in December 2011 and became a General Assignment Reporter for WOWT NBC 6 in Omaha, Nebraska.

She has covered several notable events for WOWT, including the 2012 Olympic Swim Trials and the NCAA College Baseball World Series.

Before joining WKMG CBS 6 in Orlando, Florida in January 2013, Amaka departed from Nebraska.
