Carín León Net Worth 2024: Know His Age, Height, & Wife
Sonoran musician Carin Leon is a triple threat thanks to her mesmerizing musical ability, her storytelling talent, and her deep, dramatic tenor voice: In addition to his work as a solo artist and composer for artists such as Christian Nodal, Cutaes de Sinaloa, and Adriel Favela, he also serves as the primary songwriter, guitarist, and producer for Grupo Arranke. A return to the roots and ranchera spirit of Mexican rural music is his artistic objective.
Throughout his music, Leon subtly blends ranchera, banda, mariachi, and corridos styles. Starting his solo career in 2018, Leon has published over 80 songs. One of them, “Me La Avente,” was a Top Ten Mexican Regional hit and was featured on the popular 2019 full-length El Malo. In addition to releasing solo albums like Inédito in 2024, he is still a member of Grupo Arranke, which is a charting powerhouse in its own right.

When León decided to go solo, he recorded a version of “A Través del Vaso” by his old band. Afterwards, he set out on a tour, with portions of his shows being recorded for live albums. Among León’s 2018 live CDs were “A Puro Pelo,” “Desvelada con Banda y Mariachi,” and “Amanecida con Todo y con Todos.” The following year, he dropped his first studio album, “El Malo.” More live CDs from León’s concerts were published in 2020, including “Borrachera con Taka Takas” and two volumes of “Encerrados Pero Enfiestados.”
“El Toxico,” a duet with the band Grupo Firme, was León’s first single to reach the Mexico Songs list in 2021, which was a banner year for him. In the same year, he released his second studio album, “Inédito,” and had success with cover versions of “Tú” by Noelia and “More Than Words” by Extreme. In 2022, León kept up his winning streak. He collaborated with American band Grupo Frontera on the tracks “No Es Por Aca” and “Que Vuelvas,” which were included on the group’s first studio album, “El Comienzo.” With its 50th-position peak on the Billboard Hot 100, the later single became León’s first to do so. Additionally, he made an appearance on “Tiny Desk Concerts” on NPR in 2022. A Latin Grammy for Best Regional Mexican Song went to León for his work with Matisse and Édgar Barrera on “Como lo Hice Yo,” which was the cherry on top of an already stellar year.
“Colmillo de Leche,” León’s third studio album, was released in the spring of 2023. It reached a peak of number five on the Regional Mexican Albums list and number 184 on the Billboard 200. Single “Primera Cita,” which peaked at number two on Mexico Songs, served as the album’s supporting track. “Don Juan,” Maluma’s sixth album, featured the collaboration between León and Colombian vocalist “Según Quién,” a song that was released a few months later.
On the Mexico Songs list, the song reached its highest position at number five. León began his trip of Central and South America in October in Costa Rica and continued for the following months. And for six weeks, he and Grupo Frontera’s “Que Vuelvas” topped the Regional Mexican Airplay list. “U.V.V. Vol. 8” was León’s live album as well.
