Career

After redshirting his first year, Kelce transferred to fullback from running back after being a walk-on at the University of Cincinnati. Before his second season, he secured his last offensive line job. In 2007, he played in nine games for the Bearcats, seeing time at center and guard. The team went 10-3 and won the PapaJohns.com Bowl.

The offensive line for the Bearcats during Kelce’s second year was loaded with players from the NFL. Averaging 27.3 points and 375.3 yards per game, Kelce and the Cincinnati offense were aided by Jeff Linkenbach and Trevor Canfield.
