Career
Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Jerry’s brother, and Kryst The Conqueror were formed.
Jerry reassembled the band in 1995, adding Doyle, Dr. Chud on drums, and Michale Graves on vocals. Jerry and Danzig reached a settlement to end their legal dispute that same year. Jerry was granted the right to retain the name “Misfits” (on a performing level), and they divided the proceeds from the merchandise sale once the legal struggle concluded.
They put out a new album in 2013 called “DEAD ALIVE!” Several live shows were recorded for this album.
The band reformed in September 2016 for a performance at the Riot Fest, a three-day music festival held in Chicago, featuring Jerry, Danzig, Doyle, second guitarist Acey Slade, and drummer Dave Lombardo.
They got back together in December 2017 for a pair of New Year’s Eve performances in California and Las Vegas. They played Newark, New Jersey’s Prudential Center on May 19, 2018.
