Not long after rock band REO Speedwagon released their 1971 self-titled first album, Cronin became a member of the group. As lead singer, he succeeded Terry Luttrell. “R.E.O./T.W.O.,” the band’s 1972 sophomore album, was Cronin’s final album with the group.
