Career

Walker began his career as a songwriter in 2005, securing a contract with Mercury Records Nashville after signing with a Nashville publishing company. Subsequently, in 2010, he debuted with the single “Pants” after signing with Capitol Records Nashville. With a rapid rise to the top 60 on the Hot Country Songs charts, the song quickly became a hit. He followed up the song’s popularity with the release of a music video.

“Why Wait for Summer” and “Reason to Rhyme,” his debut album, which included both of his songs, were released after the year. He released two extended plays (EPs) in 2016 titled “8Tracks (Vol. 1): Good Shit” and “8Tracks (Vol. 2): Break the Internet” after signing with Shane McAnally and SMACK/RareSpark. In 2017, with the help of the Monument label, he dropped his second studio album, Boom. Included on the album’s ten tracks is his hit “You Broke Up with Me,” which he primarily performed for the Monument label.

With the release of his fifth extended play (EP), “Country Stuff,” in June of 2021, Walker achieved a major milestone in his musical career. “Fancy Like” was one of its songs that became popular on TikTok and eventually peaked at #1 on the Hot Country Songs list and #3 on the US Billboard Hot 100. For Walker, this was the pinnacle of her chart success thus far. Consequently, Walker’s third studio album, “Country Stuff the Album,” featured the song, and it was also issued to country radio as his next single.

“Craig,” “Don’t Let Her,” “Trash My Heart,” “U Gurl,” “AA,” “You Broke Up with Me,” “Pimpin’ Joy,” and many more are among his singles. His most recent single, however, is “Y’all Life.” You may see the music videos for his songs on his own YouTube account.

Walker Hayes Wife

Laney Beville Hayes, Walker’s high school love and now wife, has the patience of a saint to keep the family running well with Walker and all six of their children. After being married for six years, the happy couple welcomed Lela, Chapel, Baylor, Beckett, Loxley, and Everly into the world. Oakleigh Klover, their seventh child, was tragically lost not long after she was born in 2018. Walker frequently features the Hayes family in his TikTok videos, and despite everything they’ve been through, they’re still a close-knit, loving family. Dealing with a half-dozen children at home is even more challenging than managing a music career.
