In such a situation, the stepdaughter would dash to the nearest fire station. After returning to Laura, she made an effort to shield Chase from harm. In order to free their son, Chad and his wife would get into fights, with Chad biting his wife to make her release him. As soon as he restocked, a shot would hit Laura’s thumb, freeing Chase.
Allegedly, he would subsequently open fire on the kid from close range. He brought Chase’s lifeless body to a spot close to his brothers. Even though Laura did everything in her power to revive her children, they did not survive.
After he sat down with the corpses, Chad would wait. He spared Laura’s life. Chad said he “did it” when the cops showed up.
There are a total of 21 counts against Chad Doerman, including nine for aggravated murder, eight for kidnapping, and four for felonious assault.
He acknowledged plotting the murders since October 2022 in a prerecorded interview. But at his court hearing, he pleaded not guilty anyway. It is the intention of the prosecution to have him executed.
